Destination Community Transportation Service LLC is a locally owned business operated by Amy and Dan Wempner. As a longtime residents of the communities they serve, and parents who have navigated support services, Amy and Dan know the realities of navigating rural transportation with a mixed needs family - the distance between towns, the long country roads, and the importance of consistency and reliability.

Amy is known for taking responsibility seriously - both in her family life and in the community she serves. After many years as an insurance agent — including owning and operating her own agency - she brings organization, responsibility, and follow-through to her work. Amy and Dan have adopted four children and have been involved in the local community for more than 18 years. As a parent who has navigated support services firsthand, she understands how important dependable transportation can be. Amy oversees scheduling and communication, committed to providing steady, respectful service families can rely on.
Dan Wempner
Fleet Manager/Driver
Dan has built his life around showing up for others. After more than 30 years with the same employer, reliability is simply part of who he is. He and Amy have also served as foster parents, and Dan has spent many years helping out in youth sports and Special Olympics. Known for his patience and steady encouragement, he brings a calm, respectful presence to every ride and takes the responsibility of transporting others seriously.
